Why be a Cozy Camper?

Updated: Feb 23, 2020

At Cozy Camper Rental, we believe that a bad day camping is better than a good day working. There are TONS of great campers to rent in town and choosing one can be tough. When we were getting started in the camping world, my wife and I rented a small camper on Outdoorsy (which is one of our partner websites and a great way to rent, by the way). We messaged several camper owners and only got one response. We used the instant book function and started to get excited. Everything was off to a great start except the owners told me they would be out of town. They told me that their neighbor would be there to help us with delivery. I was uneasy about it but we didn't have a lot of choices. I drove across town to pick it up and met the neighbor at the owner's house. She was very nice but knew very little about the camper. I got loaded up and hit the road. Unbeknownst to me, the owner had removed a battery disconnect and as a result we suffered from electrical issues the entire time. After we were set up, I found toys and clothing items belonging to the owner and his family. In the end, we had a great time on our trip but we did have a few headaches. We had those headaches because we rented a camper that was designed for someone else.

At Cozy Camper Rental, we have a different view. We're not renting out our personally owned camper to make some extra cash - our campers are built for you. We stock each of our campers with the gear you want - not our spare gear. Our goal is to provide you with a worry-free camping experience so you can focus on making lifelong memories. To tailor your Cozy Camper experience to your specific needs - we offer a series of packages. Ask us about our ATX Festival, Tailgater and Cousin Eddy packages! We also offer custom experiences to suit the camper with discerning tastes.
